Interactive Planet was founded out of real-world concerns. Our founding partners realized that the unique requirements of the marketplace providing the majority of Labor Benefits lacked many of the state-of-the-art solutions being provided to the rest of the health industry.In 1995, the plan design and administrative expertise developed through years of practical fund management was merged with a cutting-edge technology company.

Meeting the Needs

At Interactive Planet, our clients have relied upon us to help them address the changing requirements of Labor Benefits Management. Changes in plan designs that came with WHCRA, MHPA, NYPRM and those driven by market factors such as Enron and rising health costs have been addressed with each client’s special needs in mind. None of these changes have been as challenging as HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996)

Our staff regularly attends, participates, speaks at and organizes conferences and seminars to remain current and educate our clients with regard to the changing requirements of HIPAA.In 2002, we began a series of educational seminars to help fulfill HIPAA awareness for our clients.
